Samantha Schon

Intervention Specialist,
K-12 Reading
I am currently an Intervention Specialist in a resource room setting in Cincinnati. I have my Master’s in Special Education, Intervention Specialist K-12 degree from Xavier University, and a Teaching English to Other Speakers (K-12) Endorsement. I earned my Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, with a Minor in Education, Teaching, and Learning and a Minor in Disability Studies at Miami University. I am currently pursuing my Administration license at Liberty University. I enjoy working with students that require more challenging levels of support and collaborating with families to help students reach their goals towards independence. I am a trained Orton-Gillingham Teaching-Practioner level through Hamilton County.

I am available to teach elementary reading and math, middle school and high school reading, and life/study skills to K-12. I am also available to work with students with dyslexia at any grade level.

I am a quadruplet and I come from a huge family. Through my life experiences, I have a passion for working with children and adults with diverse abilities ranging from mild to severe needs. When I have free time from my Admin program, coaching Cross Country and Track, I enjoy exploring the fantastic Cincinnati parks with my fiance and two dogs.
