Becca Gasiewicz Thiemann

At a young age, I fell in love with teaching. Over the years, I have fallen in love with the power of picture books and my passion is sharing that with others. This deep love for children’s literature and the desire to share my enthusiasm for learning with as many kids as possible inspired me to start this business. Over the past seven years, this has grown from a tutoring business with a few tutors, to a group of highly-qualified tutors, as well as a Storytime Membership and online resources for parents.

Along with classroom experience, both in the primary classroom, as well as the university classroom, I have earned my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Xavier University and a PhD in Educational Studies with a focus in Literacy from the University of Cincinnati.

When I am not doing all things Becca’s Book Box, I am spending time with my husband and two children. You can find us at a park, a playground, or running around and having fun somewhere.
