Ellen Gorski
Spanish, K-6 All Subjects
Ellen is currently a third grade Spanish immersion teacher in Cincinnati. Although she currently teaches half the day in Spanish, she has also taught all subject areas as a 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade and Special Education teacher. Ellen has her Masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Reading & Curriculum Design from the University of Virginia. She is a “Double Hoo” and has her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia as well. This past summer, Ellen was a Fulbright-Hays Grant Award winner and spent six weeks living and teaching English in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Ellen is available to teach elementary Reading & Math, Introductory Spanish (Spanish literacy and speaking) and middle school and high school Spanish.
In her free time, Ellen is an avid runner. She has run 10 marathons, 3 of which were at the Boston Marathon. Her dog is her favorite running buddy and they enjoy visiting breweries together.
